Puppy Class: Wed. 7:30-8:30p, 9/25-10/30

Service Description

Puppy Class is a 5 week group training course to learn building block cues such as "Focus”, "Sit", "Come", "Leave It" and much more! While you learn about proper communication and positive reinforcement training, your dog will learn how to listen, explore, and play with other dog’s its age. What to Bring: Collar/Harness, standard 4-6ft leash, a variety of training treats, mental stimulation toys or chew, water bowl. No corrective collars, electronic collars, or retractable leashes allowed. NOTE: For dogs 10 Weeks - 5 Months of age. Dogs must complete an evaluation before training lessons begin. Up to date vaccination records are required before appointment is confirmed. Required Vaccinations/ Records: Lepto, Bordetella, DHPP (all rounds), Lyme, Canine influenza, Rabies. Puppies must be able to receive their first round or all or their puppy shots. Preventive requirements: Heartworm and flea/tick prevention must be given all year around. Negative heartworm and fecal results will need to be provided.

Cancellation Policy

A spot in class is not reserved until full payment is received either online or in person. Dogs must be between 10 weeks - 5 months to enter. All dogs must be evaluated by a Trick 4 Treat Trainer before classes begin. Dog must be on a 4-6ft nylon, rope, or leather standard leash. No retractable, slip lead, or chain leashes allowed. Dog must be on a buckle collar or a harness. No shock or prong collars allowed. Puppy Class runs for 5 consecutive weeks. There is a 6th week immediately following for missed lesson makeups and additional practice. This is the only option to make up a missed group training lesson at no extra cost. Additional makeup lessons can be purchased at $25/hour. To ensure safety and proper training for all guests, any person arriving more than 15 minutes late will not be allowed to enter and will be considered absent for the class. To ensure the safety of your dog and all dogs staying at My Furbaby's Resort, proof of the following vaccinations are required before appointment begins.
